Robinhood Chain Mainnet

How Switch works

Switch is an isolated two-asset pool contract for Stock Token exchanges. A provider deposits both Stock Tokens, chooses a fee from 0 to 3 percent and an expiry within 30 days. A taker sends one token and receives the other from that provider's funded pool. The fee stays in the provider's inventory. There is no protocol treasury or admin control.

Pricing and execution

The contract reads the USD price for each Stock Token from separate Chainlink feeds. The price represents one Stock Token, including any issuer multiplier. It divides the input token price by the output token price, then deducts the pool fee from the output. A taker sets a minimum output. The transaction reverts if the result falls below it, the pool lacks inventory or the expiry has passed.

Nonpositive, future-dated and stale feed data are rejected. An issuer oracle pause also stops swaps. The configured maximum feed age is shown in the deployment record. Robinhood Chain currently has no verified onchain Chainlink sequencer uptime feed address for this app. Switch therefore relies on feed age and the chain's ability to process transactions; it does not claim an independent sequencer check. If such a feed is later verified, it can be enabled in a new deployment. Existing pools cannot be silently changed.

Provider controls

Only the provider may add inventory, withdraw any available inventory, change the fee or expiry, or close their pool. Closing returns the remaining assets. The contract does not rebalance. One-sided flow can change the provider's exposure and the fee can be smaller than a market move.

Community token

Any separately issued Switch community token has no application utility, governance, yield, revenue claim or access rights. It is separate from this exchange contract.
